Number eighteen in my personal collection, and the rarest one I have: Showolf, card #WSH-1 from TAG's 2024 World Scaries art card set, the Lunar Gold Holo version numbered to just 25.
The card
Card #1 of World Scaries is Shohei Ohtani as a werewolf, fangs out, swinging in a Dodgers uniform with the #17, and his dog Decoy right there with him. The name is a pun that works in both languages: the label spells it ショウ狼, Shō plus the Japanese character for wolf. The Lunar Gold Holo version has the same shattered-glass foil as my A.I.ron Judge, over a gold background.
Why it matters
TAG made the set around the 2024 World Series, Dodgers vs. Yankees, and this is the LA side of my pair. It's the toughest version of the card, with only 25 made.
The grade
Like the rest of TAG's art cards, this one is slabbed as Verified Authentic instead of getting a number grade. As of October 2026 all 25 copies of the Lunar Gold Holo have been verified. You can see the whole report at my.taggrading.com.
